Indie folk rock from a southern soul, not quite Americana, not quite rock n' roll.

Zach Butler is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Macon, Georgia, infusing the grit and do-it-yourself attitude of indie with a folksy, soulful style, and just a touch of that southern twang. After being rejected from the jazz program at Georgia State University in 2019, Zach found himself playing in any band that would have him, and further developing his ear and eclectic taste. His 2025 DIY debut All Shall Be Well is the kind of record that happens when you take some bluegrass flat picking, 70s soft rock, and solid country gold, add Meters-style funk with a touch of cool jazz, and try to make sparkly indie pop songs out of it all.

These are tunes from a kid who grew up obsessed with music from before he was born, featuring poignant songwriting and hard-earned musicianship, for fans who still buy records and show up early for the opener.
